Delia Popa is a Romanian artist living in Bucharest.
Her work comprises installations, videos, performances, paintings
and collaborations of all kinds.

Her intentions as an artist can be summed up as follows:

We want art to be fun
We want love for everybody
We want to be spectators of life
We want to have intelligent audiences
who think for themselves

We want to study plants
We want to make life affirming art
We want to be seen and heard
We want to make movies that don’t
have well developed characters
We want to make sculptures that look inhabited

We want to plant trees and make green roofs of art
We want peace and tranquility
We want to be financially viable
We want to build models of things and small faces
We want to make fun of ourselves

We want to collaborate with some rats
We want to improve the quality of life of gallery goers
We want to be feminists as subtle as hair
We want to undergo change
